Colin Carr Masterclass
Selected ICMA chamber groups will have the opportunity to participate in a masterclass with our world renowned guest artist, Colin Carr.
ICMA Summer Intensive three subdivisions
Beginner
Tuition: $990
Minimum age 10: be proficient at or above Suzuki Book 4 or equivalent.
Important: Please be advised by your teacher.
Advanced
Tuition: $1330
Be proficient at or above Suzuki Book 8 or equivalent.
Important: Please be advised by your teacher.
If you are applying to the advanced program as a pre-formed group (from min 2 player to max 6 players), please fill out the pre-formed group application.
ADULT AMATEUR
Tuition: $1090
Open to all levels.
Pre-formed groups preferred.
If you are applying to the adult amateur program as a pre-formed group (from min 2 player to max 6 players), please fill out the pre-formed group application.

Admission Requirements
Application deadline: March 31, 2026
- Completed Application Form for Individual, or Application Form for Pre-formed Group.
- Audition video:
- For Individuals: Individual Applicants must submit a 10–15 minute video of two contrasting works of their choice. Piano accompaniment is preferred but not required.
- For Pre-formed Group: Pre-formed group Applicants must submit a video recording of one piece (less than 10 mins) as a group.
- *The recording should be submitted by YouTube links or BaiduNetDisk links (for applicants who reside in China).

- Tuition fee* (due April 30 after notification of acceptance).

- Individual fees: An application fee of $75 must be submitted with the Application Form.
- Pre-formed Group fees: An application fee of $75/individual must be submitted with the Application Form.

*All fees are collected during the application process. If you prefer to pay with Personal Check, Venmo or Zelle, please contact us. For applicants who need to pay through wire transfer, please note that the applicant will be responsible for any additional charges for this method of payment.

WHAT IT INCLUDES. Tuition is inclusive of all Chamber Music Intensive activities (lessons, coachings, guided rehearsals, workshops, masterclasses, bonus activities, performance opportunities and concerts).
Financial Aid/Work Study Opportunity
Financial aid opportunities are determined on a case-by-case basis, and both merit and need based. These funds are generously made possible by ICMA’s supporters in the community.
To apply, students must first register and be accepted to the program and pay the full tuition fee. Once the scholarship amount has been decided by the ICMA Scholarship Committee, families will be notified and reimbursed for the approved amount before the start of ICMA summer intensive.
Payment
Full tuition payment and confirmation of attendance are due on May 15, 2026. Students will receive instruction on how to pay tuition with their acceptance letters.
Room and Board
The ability to sign up for room and board will be provided during the tuition fee payment.
Room
For applicants who need room and board (12 nights from 08/04/2026 to 08/16/2026), there is an additional fee of $930 (shared double-bed room) or $1380 (single-bed room).
*For applicants who are under 18, who must stay with an adult in a shared room.
Board
Lunch will be held daily and is mandatory. Students can bring their own food or pre-order lunch through ICMA. For applicants who want to pre-order lunch, there is an additional fee of $250.

7:00-9:00 pm – Concerts/Reading Party/ICMA activities/Free time!
